The Montana Scenic Loop is an organization of members dedicated to promoting tourism and economic development throughout the Northern Continental Divide region. The effort highlights the spectacular landscapes, cultural history, and recreational opportunities of the Rocky Mountain Front, Glacier Park, the Flathead, Swan Range, Mission Mountains, and Blackfoot Valley—all year long.
The formation of the MSL board, with community members at the core, serves as a mechanism to broaden the Montana Scenic Loop web site, develop brochures and maps, promote membership of local businesses and organizations to plan, coordinate and advertise annual and special events around the Loop.
Partners include the Tourism Commissions for Russell Country, Glacier Country, and Gold West Country; the Flathead, Lolo, Helena, and Lewis & Clark National Forests; Glacier National Park; Travel Montana and the Loop communities of Augusta, Choteau, Bynum, Dupuyer, Browning, East Glacier, Essex, West Glacier, Hungry Horse, Columbia Falls, Big Fork, Condon, Seeley Lake, Ovando and Lincoln. Plans are in the works to involve more communities by adding "Super Side Trips."
