Annual Events: Seeley Lake

A hub for annual activities, Seeley Lake is host to Race to the Sky, a dog sledding event. The race generally starts at Camp Rimini and restarts at the Lincoln Public School the next day. Checkpoints at Lincoln, the White Tail Ranch, Seeley Lake Community Hall and the Hi-Country Beef Jerky Archway in Lincoln make this a great spectator event.

The Wine & Chocolate Social & Art Auction features live and silent auctions of local artisans' work in all different mediums. The annual Loon & Fish Festival is a celebration of area wildlife on Memorial Day weekend. Come see Seeley Lake adorned in quilts at the wonderful Annual Quilt Festival, a celebration of quilting. The Tamaracks Festival is a celebration of the golden tamarack trees. Outdoor arts & crafts fair, kid's town, a performance stage, interpretive center on tamarack trees (larches), bike race and maps to walk, hike, bike or drive to see the best trees are just a few things to see and do during the Tamaracks Festival.

Winterfest is an annual celebration of snow and winter activities in the Seeley-Swan Valley. The lighted evening parade and Christmas tree bonfire are simply gorgeous. Feast at the Dessertfest, enjoy the snow sculptures, watch the sled-dog races, or participate in the OSCR cross-country skiing races. Whether you choose to be an active participant or a sideline watcher, you'll take pleasure in it all. Check with the Seeley Lake Chamber of Commerce for details.
